Mood: desperate for windy warm weath
1st February 2004

Wind Direction: sw
Wind Stength: 23mph
Surf / Sea State: flat
Air Temperature: unsure
Sea Temperature: unsure
Weather: cloudy yet windy
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Decided to go kiting after vowing not to the night before, windspeeds were predicted to be around 20 -25 mph which were pretty accurate, I went down with my bouf carlos and fellow friend Ali
Equipment used: Buggy Flexi Airdeck And blade III, 4.9
(bullet is being repaired by flexi: some nasty shell rips)

When we arrived there were no static flyers only plenty of kitesurfers, after all the weather was perfect for them.
Didnt have a go in the buggy today as the wind was far to strong for me, if only i had a bullet 1.5 it would have been ok,so instead i got the kite out, geared myself into my quadrafoil harness, waited and waited (for the wind to die down a little) Then thought the time was right and got my kite up into the air, hooked my kite to the harness (very silly), and got dragged literally over 1/2 a mile down the beach kind of half flying half running, god knows why i didnt let go, i guess its coz i didnt want to get my kite wet, anyway after that i managd to find a dry spot and unhooked the kite from my harness and let go of the kite (thankfully i had used my kitekillers) all i could see behind me was two bodies running after me in the distance!

after that i had a very long rest!

I wanted to fly my blade for so long that i didnt care how windy it was, well ive learnt my lesson!
